l loved the concept of the Amenity beside the reception area which was included in the hotel price, where you can pick-up a face mask, foot mask, small sachets of face cream or cleanser, soap, also bath salts and there was also a selection of items for men too. In the room, there were PJ's and slippers and in the bathroom additional toothbrush/toothpaste, hair comb and a soft wash cloth. As a female traveller, this actually encouraged you after a long day of walking and sightseeing to have a spa evening in your room. There was also a selection of tea sachets and sachets of drip coffee to bring to your room at the Amenity. I asked if I could buy one of the PJ's as I loved the design, but unfortunately, they don't sell them. Excellent travel connections with underground stations in the area and a 5-7 minute walk from Tokyo main station. 7-Eleven supermarket beside the hotel, and across the road a Meidi-Ya supermarket with a wide selection of Japanese and international food and drink. I would certainly use the Daiwa Roynet Hotel again.

The location was fantastic - just steps away from the Ginza line, short walking distance to Tokyo Station Yaesu South Entrance, lots of food options and a short walk from the shopping area in Ginza. The check-in & out processes were very smooth and the staff was attentive in helping us with sending our luggage to the next destination and storing it for the day. There was everything we needed in the room and a spacious bathroom. The coin washing machines were wonderful because we could pay with an IC card and the timer told us how to wait. An added bonus was the well-stocked convenience store on L1 and the lovely coffeeshop on L2 which served decent coffee and delicious bread and eggs. There were options for small and hearty eaters alike at affordable prices. Can't find a better place to stay in Tokyo if you like the Tokyo Station area.

The location is fantastic: very close to multiple metro stations, restaurants, cafes, 7/11s etc. The check in/out were very easy to do with the machines in the lobby. You could also use the same machines to change your bills into smaller ones, which came in very handy. The bathroom in our room was spacious. It had decent counterspace to put my skincare on and I also liked the closed off bathing area a lot. The janitors also give you new toothbrushes, body wash towels, towels, q-tips, bottled water, etc every day. The staff were lovely and we had no issues communicating in english. Everyone working there was very polite.

Close walk from Tokyo’s train station and less crowded than Shibuya! Larger room (20sq m) for Tokyo and well-designed with the bath, shower, sink & toilet in one spacious ensuite. Larger towels than other hotels, coin operated laundry machines and large TV with CNN (most hotels in Japan only have local channels). Fairly new hotel: beware that there’s another Dawai Roynet hotel in Ginza. This one is in the next suburb, Kyobashi, which is closer to the station. Plenty of shops close by: 3x 7/11s, cafes and restaurants.

I'm from London so although this hotel might seem expensive to others in comparison to what I'm used to it's very good value for the amazing location just 5 minutes from Tokyo station. It's a small double room but the most important things are done perfectly: amazing beds linens and pillows, amazing power shower and WC and fully soundproofed with blackout curtains. The only reason I didn't give 10 is because due to the size of the room one person has to climb onto the double bed which is up against the wall
